On March 9th of 2011 Dan Bilzerian and Tom Goldstein placed a $400,000 bet on who would win a race between Dan’s 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 and Tom’s 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia. The amount of the bet definitely makes this race more interesting and to find out who won, check out the video below. Also note that the first video is a teaser while the second one actually shows the race and if you want to skip to the final race jump to the 2:55 mark.

Based on the Shelby Daytona Coupe — the only American car ever to win the FIA GT World Championship — the Shelby Daytona Coupe Le Mans Edition ($TBA) is a modern day take on the classic racer. It features upgrades such as wider 18-inch wheels and tires, front and rear fender flares, a functional billet aluminum top, Alcantera suede seats, a suede Momo steering wheel, and more. In addition, this throwback beauty is powered by the customer’s choice of motors based on the Ford 351 Windsor block, including a Roush 402R V8 good for 530 hp and 515 lb-ft of torque, or more than enough power to live up to its mighty heritage.
